Regular Church Activity
Apart from morning and evening services on Sunday, the church welcomes the congregation and guests to a range of social, worship and outreach activities.
The weekly notice sheet, issued at Sunday services, has the most up-to-date schedule of forthcoming events.
Most activities are held in the Hudson Hall, which is accessed through the main chapel entrance.
All adults involved with children have current enhanced DBS certificates.
-
We welcome all children of school age to our “Sunday School.”
Sessions begin at 9.45 am and last for about an hour.
-
A regular Bible study and prayer meeting is held on Thursday evening at 7.30.
In-depth study of scripture is key to understanding how the suffering of Christ can free us from the curse of sin.
We believe that God listens to our prayers, whether we pray on our own or in a group. Prayers of adoration, confession, thanks and supplication in a group help us all to pray in a way which we hope is acceptable to God.
-
Tiddly Toes is an informal meeting for mothers, fathers, grandparents and carers who are caring for a baby or preschool toddler (or two).
Play and stories feature in a warm and welcoming setting, as well as tea and coffee for the grown-ups!
It is held in the Hudson Hall on Tuesday mornings during school term from 10-12.
-
Acts 2:42 encourages fellowship of believers. 242 Club is a social meeting, where believers enjoy a variety of games, puzzles and quizzes. Refreshments are provided (with donations welcome).
It is usually held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 7-9 p.m.
-
An opportunity for our ladies to meet for chat and study of scripture.
It is held on the last Saturday of each month from 11.00 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Guests are welcome, but please contact the church in advance if you wish to attend.
